
The project was held at the period of April-July 2007. As a result of the advertising campaign we gathered 150 resumes. After 4 stages of the contest 10 finalists went to Madrid, Spain to participate the final interview. 4 of them became trainees in URSA.

About the program
Aim: To prepare a group of people in the Headquarters (Madrid) that are aligned with the Values of the company in order to have resources so as to support the development and growth especially in Central-East and Easter part of Europe
The program structure will consist of on-the-job training within 12 months in HQ (Madrid, Spain) following with a placement in one of the Operating Units within the Division (8 months)
Then YPP Trainee Program can offer the first step in developing a rewarding and challenging career within URSA
Trainee will participate in an individually tailored program which will be designed to provide with a thorough understanding of the full business lifecycle depending on specialization:
• Finance & Purchasing (finance and capital markets business)
• Controlling & Planning (sales controlling, budgeting, reporting)
• Sales & Marketing (profitability analysis (segments/ customers/products), interface production – market, benchmarking (products & materials), analysis of new potentials: development of new segments – product line extensions/new products, develop tools for brand communication per segment, follow up industry associations at European and local level)
Throughout the program, support will be provided by Human Resources, management and an assigned mentor to determine strengths and areas of special interest with a view to a final job placement.
Travel expenses and accommodation will be covered by the Company
Every month salary will be provided for each trainee during all time of the Program
Requirements:
Background:
• Young graduates (2006 – 2007 years of graduation)
• Very limited or no previous working experience
Education:
• Engineer / Architect / Economy / Business Administration/Marketing/Finances
Languages
• Fluent, both orally and written, in English
• Additional fluency in other language is of advantage
Skills and Qualities
• Open, proactive, committed and decisive
• Team oriented, enjoys creating a community of knowledge around him/herself
• Self development: willing to learn, share and develop him/herself in a challenging environment
• Expert user of Excel (programming knowledge on Visual Basic is of advantage) – for Finance & Purchasing, Controlling & Planning

• April – May 2007 – selection of the participants
• September the 1st 2007 – beginning of the program
• September 2007 – September 2008 - on-the-job training within 12 months in Headquarter (Madrid, Spain)
